A quiet weekend on the home-front doesn’t mean that some locals aren’t busy! This weekend we have two dedicated teams headed in two different directions to scratch the rally bug!
Heading West, Mal Swann and the Fritter are at it again, headed back yet again to Quebec to attack the Rallye Defi alongside Co-driver Tim Dine! The event runs September 9th and 10th and live results will be available on RallyScoring.com so stay tuned!
Headed East is Atlantic Region Navigational Rally Director Cindy McCarron, who is taking on the annual Targa Newfoundland Rally for the first time alongside driver Adam Mercer in a classic 1987 Toyota Supra! Check out the Mad Rock Racing Facebook Page for more info!
Also competing at Targa Newfoundland are Rally East Facebook regular, San Francisco-based Peter Guagenti, who is returning to tackle Targa after a several year absence alongside Co-Driver Matt Rhoads in his stunning 2002 BMW M3.
Targa Newfoundland is an epic 5-day Tarmac Rally which runs from September 10-17th all across the South East of Newfoundland, hosting competitors from all around the world. Check out Targa Newfoundland for more information!
