The 2014 Ledwidge Lookoff Rally is coming!

The Ledwidge Lookoff Rally is back for 2014 and bigger than ever!

This year will include THREE free spectator stages at the Conrad Brothers Quarry in Dartmouth on Saturday, August 23rd! Rally right in your back yard! These stages were super fast and fun last year with great viewing positions for spectators to see the entire 3km stage from one location! You can find information on spectating on the Lookoff Rally site!

After that the rally moves on to the Noel shore where competitors will tackle another 12 full rally stages totalling 117 kilometres!

Volunteers are always needed and you can find information on helping out in the Workers section of the Lookoff Rally Website. A volunteers registration form is available on the website or you can contact Ron McKenzie at rmckenzie@lookoffrally.com

Rally in our region keeps getting better and this will be the biggest event held in our region in over 20 years! Come on out and be a part of the fun!

2013-2014 BAC RallyCross Challenge is wrapping up!

2013/2014 BAC RallyCross Challenge standings can be found here:

Class Standings
Overall Standings

There’s some good points battles heading into the final event! Blu Vandaalen has a solid lead for the overall championship but anything can happen! For second place its a super tight drivetrain battle with Ian Pearcerepresenting AWD and Dave Hull pushing (pulling!) FWD!

The next and final event is April 13th! Lets hope for two dry weeks so we can have a good high speed dust-fest for a sendoff of the 2013-2014 season!

Sunday’s BAC RallyCross at AMP is on!

Its refreshing to be posting good news on the Friday before a RallyCross for once! This Sunday’s Bluenose Autosport Club’s rallycross at Atlantic Motorsport Park is on! There’s a good base down so the course should be even smoother than usual, though expect lots of slip! Bring your good winters and see you there!

Repair work on the SSW RallyCross lot!

Thanks very much to Dave Hull, Ian Pearce and Jonathan Conrad for the cleanup at the Scotia Speed World big lot today. With Dave’s dragging and Jon’s plowing we greatly improved the condition of the big lot. I’d say its at 70-80% of perfect condition again! Now if we can just get some warm+dry or some very cold weather we’re set for using the big lot again!
